Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
JOCO Health and Education Foundation ("JOCO," "we," "us") is operated by JOCO Ghana Ltd, a company registered in Ghana (Reg. No. CS039670324, TIN C0063866307). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy is written in plain language to be genuinely useful, not just legally defensive. It is not a substitute for formal legal advice — if you need this reviewed for a specific legal or regulatory purpose, please have a lawyer check it before relying on it.
1. Information we collect
Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send us, plus whatever you choose to tell us about your interest (donating, volunteering, partnering, etc.).
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. If that changes in future — for example, adding basic visitor analytics — we will update this policy to reflect it.
Photographs. Photos of children and communities featured on this site are used only with appropriate consent from a parent, guardian, or school. We do not publish children's full names, exact locations, health information, or personal circumstances alongside their images. If you have any concern about a photograph on this site, please contact us and we will address it.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to messages sent through our contact form
- To process and acknowledge donations, once online giving is set up
- To coordinate with volunteers and partners who reach out to us
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
3. Third-party services
Contact form messages are delivered using Resend, an email delivery service. Resend processes the content of your message solely to deliver it to us, under their own privacy and security practices.
If online payment processing (e.g. mobile money, bank transfer, or PayPal) is added in future, the relevant payment provider will process your payment details directly — we will never store your card or mobile money details on our own servers.
4. Data retention
We keep contact form messages for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry and maintain a record of our correspondence, and delete them when no longer needed.
5. Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
6. Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this site. Photographs of children used on this site are handled under the consent and dignity practices described in Section 1 above.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our programmes and this website grow. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
8. Contact us
For any question about this policy or your personal information, please reach us through the contact form on this website, or write to us at our registered business address: APPROTEC Street, Adenta, Greater Accra, Ghana.
